Viewing active sessions

Home / Knowledge Base / General / Viewing active sessions

WEMASY lets you see all devices that are currently signed in to your account. This helps you stay aware of where your account is being used and take action if something looks wrong.

What are active sessions?

An active session represents a device or browser that is currently signed in to your WEMASY account. Each time you sign in from a new device or browser, a new session is created. Sessions remain active until you sign out or until they expire.

How to view your active sessions

  1. Click your avatar or initials in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Select My account from the menu.
  3. Navigate to the Security section.
  4. Find the Active sessions area.

Session details

Each active session displays information to help you identify the device. This may include:

  • Device type — The type of device used, such as desktop or mobile.
  • Browser — The browser used to sign in.
  • Location — An approximate location based on the IP address.
  • Last activity — When the session was last active.

Your current session is clearly marked so you can distinguish it from other sessions.

Ending a session remotely

If you see a session you do not recognize, or if you want to sign out from a device you no longer use, you can end that session remotely.

  1. Find the session you want to end in the active sessions list.
  2. Click the option to end or remove that session.
  3. The device will be signed out immediately.

The user on that device will need to sign in again to regain access.

Note: You cannot end your current session from this overview. To sign out of your current device, use the sign-out option in the account menu.

When to review your active sessions

It is good practice to review your active sessions regularly. You should check them especially in these situations:

  • You signed in from a shared or public computer and may have forgotten to sign out.
  • You lost a device or had one stolen.
  • You notice unexpected activity in your account.
  • You recently changed your password and want to make sure old sessions are closed.

Tip: After changing your password, review your active sessions and end any that you do not recognize.
