If you no longer want your website to appear live on the internet, you can unpublish it from the WEMASY Dashboard. This makes your site temporarily inaccessible to visitors while keeping your content safe and editable in the backend.

Step 1: Log in to your WEMASY dashboard

Go to dashboard and sign in to your account.

Select the project (website) you want to unpublish.

Step 2: Open project settings

Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner or open Project Settings from the left sidebar.

A settings panel will appear showing several website options.

Step 3: Go to the publishing section

In the settings menu, select Publishing or Live Settings.

You’ll see your website’s current publishing status — for example, Active / Published.

Step 4: Click Status

Select the concept option.

When a confirmation pop-up appears, confirm the action to remove your site from being live.

After unpublishing, your website will no longer be accessible through its public URL, but all pages, settings, and content will remain saved in your dashboard.

Tip

You can re-publish your website anytime by clicking the Publish button again.

This option is helpful when you’re redesigning, making updates, or temporarily pausing your site without deleting any data.
