How to duplicate a website

A favicon is the small icon that appears in a browser tab or bookmark — it represents your brand and helps users identify your website easily. You can upload or change your favicon directly through your WEMASY profile settings in just a few steps.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Open profile settings

Log in to your WEMASY account and go to your main dashboard.

Click on your profile icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.

From the dropdown menu, select Settings to open your website configuration panel.

Step 2: Locate the favicon section

In the settings panel, scroll down until you find the Favicon section.

This section allows you to upload or replace your existing favicon image.

Step 3: Upload your favicon

Click the Upload Image button.

Select your favicon file from your computer — the recommended image size is 32×32 or 48×48 pixels for best quality and compatibility.

You can use standard file formats like .PNG or .ICO.

Step 4: Save your changes

Once your favicon is uploaded, click Save Settings at the bottom of the panel.

WEMASY will automatically apply the new favicon to your website.

Step 5: Verify the update

Open your website in a new browser tab.

You should now see your new favicon displayed in the tab and bookmarks.

If it doesn’t appear immediately, clear your browser cache or refresh the page to load the latest version.

Tip

Choose a simple and recognizable design — avoid using too much detail since the favicon appears at a very small size.

For best branding, use your logo or an element of your logo that stands out even when scaled down.

Keep a backup of your original favicon in case you want to revert later.
