The Site Logo element shows the logo you set in Site Identity. Unlike a normal image, it follows your project logo: when you upload a new logo, every Site Logo element on your website shows the new one. That makes it the right element for your header and footer.
Set your logo first
The element always uses the logo from Site Identity. If there is none yet, the element says No project logo yet. Upload one in Customization, Site Identity. See Site identity and branding.
Add the element
- Open your header, for example in the layout or the header reusable template.
- Click Elements in the left sidebar.
- Drag Site Logo into the header section.
- Open the element settings.
Settings
- Alt Text: usually your business name.
- Width and Height: the size of the logo.
- Radius: rounded corners, if your logo needs them.
- Alignment: Left, Center or Right.
- Click Event: Link with a Link URL, such as / for your homepage, or None.
A different logo on tablet or mobile
Use Tablet logo override or Mobile logo override to show another version on smaller screens, for example only your logo mark. Switch the device view above the canvas to Tablet or Mobile to set it. Leave the override empty to keep using the Site Identity logo.
Site Logo or Image element?
- Use Site Logo for your own logo in headers and footers. It updates everywhere when the logo changes.
- Use the Image element for any other picture.
Tip: link the logo to your homepage. Visitors expect a click on the logo to bring them home.
