The Donation element puts a donation form on a page of your website. Visitors pick an amount or enter their own, add their name, email and a message, and pay online through your own Mollie or Stripe account.
Before you start
- Switch on the Webshop and connect your payment provider under Payment Settings. Until then the editor shows a note and the form cannot take donations. See Webshop settings and payments.
Add the element
- Open the page in the Website Builder.
- Click Elements in the left sidebar, or click + Add element in a section.
- Drag Donation into the section.
- Open the element settings.
Donation settings
- Amounts: up to six amounts, separated by commas, for example 10, 25, 50. Visitors see each amount as a button.
- Allow another amount: adds a field where visitors enter their own amount.
- Ask for a message: adds an optional message field. The message shows in your Donations overview.
- Title above the form (optional): a short heading, for example Support our work.
- Button text: leave it empty to show Donate now in the language of your site.
The texts of the form, such as the name and email fields, follow the language of your site. The amounts show in the currency of your webshop.
Test a donation
- Publish your website.
- Make a small donation on the live page.
- Check that it appears under Webshop, Donations and that the thank you email arrives.

Frequently asked questions
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own Mollie or Stripe account. WEMASY never holds or pays out donations. Your provider pays the money out to your bank.
Can I place the form on more than one page?
Yes. Add a Donation element on each page. All donations end up in the same Donations overview.
