Every talk with the WEMASY AI is saved as a conversation in your project. You can start a fresh conversation for a new task, go back to an earlier one to continue, and archive the ones you no longer need. This article explains how to manage your AI chat conversations.
Conversations belong to a project
A conversation is linked to the project you started it in. When you switch project, you see the conversations of that project. People who work on the same project share the conversation list: a collaborator can open and continue a conversation you started. Only the person who started a conversation can rename or archive it.
Start a new conversation
Start a new conversation for each new task, such as "build the contact page" or "set up my webshop". A short, focused conversation gives better results than one long chat about everything.
- Open the AI chat with the AI Magic button or switch to AI Magic mode.
- Click the option to start a new conversation.
- Type your request.
Continue an earlier conversation
- Open the AI chat.
- Open Earlier chats.
- Click the conversation you want.
- Type your next message.
The AI remembers what was said earlier in that conversation. Every new conversation gets a title based on what you asked, and you can rename it so you find it back easily.
Archive a conversation
- Find the conversation in Earlier chats.
- Choose Archive. You can only archive conversations you started.
- Confirm.
Archiving hides the conversation from your list. It is not deleted.
Restore an archived conversation
- Open the AI chat.
- Open Earlier chats.
- Open Archived chats.
- Restore the conversation you want back.
What the AI remembers between conversations
A new conversation starts without the messages of earlier ones. The AI does use the facts stored for your project, such as your AI Preferences and business details. Put lasting facts there instead of repeating them in every chat. See AI settings in your account.
Rate an answer
If an answer was wrong or not helpful, give it a thumbs down in the chat and tell WEMASY what went wrong. This helps improve the AI. For general feedback about WEMASY, see Share feedback with WEMASY.
Tip: Very long conversations cost more credits per answer, because the AI reads more history each time. Start a new conversation when you begin a new task. See AI credits in the chat and Opening the AI chat.

Yes. Conversations are shared within a project, so collaborators on the project can open and continue them. Only the person who started a conversation can rename or archive it.
Is an archived conversation deleted?
No. Archiving only hides it from your list. You can restore it under Earlier chats, Archived chats.
