The Book a service element lets visitors book one of your services right on the page: an appointment, a class, a stay or a membership. It shows the booking options of the service you choose, so visitors pick a time and book without leaving the page.
Before you start
- The element belongs to the Reservations & Bookings product. It appears in the Elements panel only when that product is active for your project.
- Create the bookable service first, in Reservations, under Services. See Add a bookable service.
Add the element
- Open the page in the Website Builder.
- Click Elements in the left sidebar.
- Drag Book a service into a section.
- Open the element settings.
- Choose the service under Service.
Only bookable services made in Reservations can be used here. If you see This is not a bookable service, or it does not exist, pick another service. Normal products go in the Add to Cart element.
Where to place it
- On the page that explains the service, under the description and price.
- On a booking page with one element per service.
- For a full week of group classes, use the Class timetable element instead.
Test a booking
- Publish your website.
- Make a test booking on the live page.
- Check that it appears in Reservations and that the confirmation email arrives.
More about adding bookings to your site: Add booking to your website.
Tip: keep the availability of the service up to date in Reservations. The element shows what is set there.
