Newsletter & Campaign shows the results of every newsletter and campaign you send: how many people got the email, who opened it, which links were clicked and who unsubscribed. You find the totals on the Overview page and the details per campaign on the campaign page.
Your numbers on the overview
Open Newsletter & Campaign from the product switcher. The Overview page shows:
- Subscribers, with the number of new subscribers this month.
- Waiting to confirm: people who got the confirmation email but did not click it yet.
- Sent, last 30 days, with the number of campaigns running.
- Opened, with the share of people who clicked.
- Recent campaigns, each with the number sent and opened.
Open the results of a campaign
- Click Campaigns in the left menu.
- Find the campaign in the list.
- Click View results in its actions.
The Results card on the campaign page shows five tiles: Sent, Opened, Clicked, Unsubscribed and Bounced. It also shows how many emails are still waiting and how many people marked the email as spam. Click Refresh to load the latest numbers.
The numbers count people, not every single open. An email that is still waiting is not counted as sent.
Links, activity and recipients
- Links clicked: each link in the email and how many people clicked it.
- Latest activity: who opened, clicked, unsubscribed, bounced or gave a reason, newest first.
- Recipients: every person with their Result, when they Opened the email and their number of Clicks.
Some mail apps open images on their own, so opens are a rough guide. Clicks are the surer sign of interest.
What your team changed
The History card on the campaign page lists what happened to the campaign: when it was created, started, paused or stopped, which emails and lists were added or removed, and when the moment of an email was changed.
Results per person
Open a contact on the Contacts page to see Emails received: every email sent to that person and whether they opened or clicked it. The History of the contact shows each step, such as joining a list, confirming and unsubscribing. See Adding and importing contacts.
Preview an email as a contact
On the campaign page you can open Preview email, choose a contact under Preview as and see the email exactly as that person gets it, with their personal details filled in. Switch between Desktop and Phone.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my open rate higher or lower than expected?
Some mail apps load images automatically, which counts as an open, and others block images, which hides an open. Use clicks to judge interest.
What does Bounced mean?
The email did not arrive, for example because the address does not exist. WEMASY stops mailing addresses that bounce. Read more in the article on unsubscribes, bounces and sending limits.
