AI Preferences are the memory the WEMASY AI keeps for one project. You write down how your website should sound and look, and a few facts about your business. The AI uses them every time it builds or rewrites pages for this project, so you do not have to repeat yourself in each chat.
Open AI Preferences
- Click the gear icon next to the project switcher.
- Click AI Preferences in the menu on the left.
A percentage at the top shows how complete your preferences are. The company or brand name the AI uses is the project title, which you change on the General tab.
Set your preferences
- Under Voice & style, describe your Tone of voice, for example warm but professional, short sentences.
- Describe the Aesthetic, for example big buttons, lots of white space, bold photography.
- Under Business memory, enter your Industry.
- Choose your answer under What is your role? and Company size.
- Under Images, choose the Default image behavior.
- Click Save AI preferences.
Image behavior
- Placeholders only: the default. The AI leaves image slots empty to save credits, and you upload or pick photos yourself.
- Generate images: the AI fills in photos after it builds pages. This uses image credits and is available on paid plans.
This is the default for the project. In a single chat you can choose differently from the chat settings without changing the project default.
AI Preferences and the business profile
AI Preferences describe style and context. Your hard facts, such as address, phone, and opening hours, belong in the Business profile, which the AI also reads. Fill in both for the best results.
The AI chat works with AI credits. Your balance shows on the Usage tab. To learn how to work with the AI while you build, see Using AI in the Website Builder.
Tip: Write your preferences as you would brief a designer. Concrete words like "short sentences" or "rounded corners" help the AI more than general words like "modern".
