How do you add your first item (text, image, section, or product)

Adding items to your website — such as text, images, sections, or products — is one of the core functions in WEMASY Website Builder. The process is simple and visual, allowing you to create stunning layouts in just a few clicks.

Follow these steps to start adding elements to your website:

Step 1. open your project

Log in to your WEMASY account at dashboard.wemasy.com.

Once inside, select your project and open it in the Sitebuilder.

This will take you to the visual editor where you can build your page.

Step 2. choose where to add content

Hover your cursor over any area of the page — you’ll see a “+” Add Button appear.

Click it to insert a new element.

You can add items between existing sections or at the bottom of the page.

Step 3. add a text block

• Click “+ Add” → Text.

• A text block will appear on your page.

• Click inside the block to start typing or paste your own text.

• Use the text toolbar (above the editor) to format — bold, italic, underline, bullet points, alignment, etc.

Tip: For SEO and readability, use H1 for your main title, H2 for section titles, and H3 for subheadings.

Step 4. add an image

• Click “+ Add” → Image.

• You can upload a new image from your computer or choose from the media library.

• Once added, drag to reposition or resize it visually.

• Use the settings panel on the right to change alt text, border style, or apply filters.

Pro Tip: Always include alt text to improve accessibility and SEO.

Step 5. add a section (block)

Sections help you structure your page.

Click “+ Add” → Section.

Choose from pre-designed layouts (Hero, About, Contact, Gallery, etc.) or start from a blank section.

Customize the section’s background, spacing, and layout.

You can rearrange sections anytime using drag-and-drop.

Step 6. Add a Product (for Webshop Users)

If your plan includes the Webshop module, you can add products directly to your online store:

• Go to the Webshop section from the Sidebar.

• Click “Add New Product”.

• Enter product details — name, description, price, and images.

• Assign it to a category (e.g., Clothing, Accessories, Digital Items).

• Click Save to publish your product to your store.

Step 7. preview & publish

Use the Preview button (top right) to see how your page looks live.

When satisfied, click Publish to make your changes visible to visitors.

Start small — add one text block, one image, and one section. Once you’re comfortable, you can combine these elements to design full pages using WEMASY’s drag-and-drop editor.
