How do you add an image

Adding images in WEMASY Website Builder is quick, visual, and user-friendly. You can upload, drag, and position images anywhere on your page to make your website more attractive and professional. Images not only enhance your design but also help convey your message more effectively to visitors.

Step 1. Open your project

Log in to your WEMASY Dashboard, open your website project, and navigate to the page where you want to insert an image. Once you are in the website editor, make sure you’re editing the correct section or layout area where the image should appear.

Step 2. Add an image block

From the left sidebar, click the Image icon or select Add Section → Image.

This will insert a placeholder image into your chosen section or column on the page.

Step 3. Choose how to add your image

You have several ways to insert an image:

• Upload image – Select and upload an image directly from your computer.

• Choose from library – Access your existing media files stored in WEMASY’s media library.

• Use URL – Paste an external image link (if supported) to pull the image from an online source.

Once your image is added, it will instantly appear on the canvas for editing.

Step 4. Customize your image

After placing the image, you can easily:

• Resize – Drag the corners or use the properties panel to adjust the image dimensions.

• Add link – Turn your image into a clickable element that redirects to another page or URL.

• Replace or delete – Swap the image with another or remove it permanently.

All these actions can be done visually using the toolbar or settings panel.

Step 5. Save and publish

When satisfied, click Save to store your changes or Publish to make them live on your website.

Tip

For faster page loading, use optimized images (JPG or WebP format under 1MB).

Always include alt text to describe each image — this improves accessibility and helps boost your website’s SEO.
