Headings play a key role in structuring your website content and improving SEO. They help search engines understand your page hierarchy while making your content easier for visitors to read and navigate. In WEMASY Website Builder, you can add and customize headings visually using the built-in editor — no coding required.

Step 1. Open your page

Log in to your WEMASY Dashboard, open your website project, and select the page where you want to add headings.

Once you’re in the editor view, you’ll be able to see your content blocks and layout.

Step 2. Access heading options

From the left sidebar of the WEMASY editor, locate the Heading options.

You’ll see icons labeled H1, H2, and H3 — each representing a different heading level.

Step 3. Add your heading text

Copy or type the text you want to use as a heading.

This could be your page title, section title, or subsection depending on where it appears.

Step 4. Select the correct heading type

Click on the appropriate heading style to define your content structure:

  • H1 → The main page title (should be used only once per page).

  • H2 → Section headings or major content topics.

  • H3 → Subheadings under H2 sections for detailed points or smaller sections.

Using the correct heading hierarchy helps both users and search engines understand the importance of each section.

Step 5. Insert your heading

Paste or type your chosen text into the heading block you just added.

You can reposition the heading anywhere on your page by dragging it to the desired section.

Tip

Use headings consistently throughout your website.

Keep your H1 short and descriptive, use H2s to divide main sections, and H3s for supporting details.

This not only improves readability but also strengthens your website’s SEO ranking by clearly defining your content’s structure.
