Exporting and managing your designs

When a design is ready, you can download it as an image or PDF, or save it to the media library of your project to use it on your website. The Canvas page keeps all your designs, where you can search, rename, duplicate and delete them.

Export a design

1. Open the design in the Canvas editor. See Editing a design in the Canvas editor.
2. Click Export in the top bar.
3. Choose a format.

The file downloads with the name of the design. The formats are:

• PNG: for social media and websites.
• PNG (transparent): without a background, for example for a logo.
• JPG: a smaller file for photos.
• PDF: for print.
• SVG: a vector file that stays sharp at any size.
• JSON: the design data itself.

If you select one or more parts of the design first, the export button shows the selection, and you export only those parts.

Save a design to your media library

1. Open the design in the editor.
2. Click Save to media library.

You see Saved in the media library. The image is now available in the Website Builder, for example in an image element. See Media library.

Edit an image from your media library

1. Open the media library.
2. Click Edit in Canvas on an image.
3. Change the image in the editor.
4. Click Save to media library.

The edited version is saved as a copy, so the original image stays as it was.

Manage your designs

All designs are listed under Recent designs on the Canvas page, newest first.

• Search designs: find a design by its name.
• All and the set filters: show all designs or only one set, such as the designs made from one layout.
• Open: open the design in the editor.
• Rename: double-click the name of a design and type a new one.
• Duplicate design: make a copy to try a variation.
• Delete design: remove the design. The images it used stay in your media library.
• Show more: load older designs.

Tip: Use Duplicate design before a big change. You keep the original and can compare both versions.
