Connect your Meta ad account to the Ads tool to see your Facebook and Instagram campaigns, ad sets and daily results in your WEMASY project. You log in with Facebook, pick the ad account for this project, and then choose the Page, Instagram account and pixel your ads use.
Before you begin
- Use the Facebook account that manages your Meta ad account.
- Allow popups for the WEMASY dashboard. The Meta login opens in a popup window.
- Each project syncs from one ad account.
Connect your ad account
- Open Ads from the product switcher.
- Click the Meta tab.
- Click Connect with Meta.
- Log in with Facebook in the popup.
- On Meta's screen, select the ad account, Pages and Instagram account you want to share.
- Allow every permission Meta asks for.
- Back in WEMASY, click the ad account you want to use for this project.
- Click Use this account.
If your ad account is not in the list, click Re-pick assets on Meta and select it on Meta's screen.
Choose the Page, Instagram account and pixel
Meta ads always run as a Facebook Page. After you pick the ad account, the Meta tab asks Which Page and Instagram account run the ads?
- Choose your Page.
- Choose the Instagram account linked to that Page, or None.
- Choose the Pixel that counts your conversions, or None.
- Click Save.
The Connection card on the Meta tab now lists your Ad account, Page, Instagram, Pixel and Token. Anything that is not set shows as Missing.
Load your data
Click Sync now at the top of the Meta tab to _blocked_ your campaigns, ad sets, ads and daily results. WEMASY also syncs once a day on its own. Read your numbers with Read your ad results.
Reconnect when access ends
Meta access does not last forever. The Meta tab warns you before and after it ends:
- Meta access ends in ... days: reconnect soon to keep reporting running.
- Token expired: syncing stops until you reconnect.
- Meta did not grant ...: a permission was skipped during login.
To reconnect, click Reconnect on the warning or on the Connection card, then follow the connect steps again and allow every permission. More fixes are in Sync and troubleshoot ad data.
Frequently asked questions
No ad accounts were returned. What went wrong?
You probably did not select an ad account on Meta's consent screen. Click Re-pick assets on Meta, select the ad account, and finish the login again.
The Page list is empty.
Meta did not share any Pages with WEMASY. Click Reconnect and allow access to your Pages on Meta's screen.
Do I need a pixel?
No, but without a pixel the Meta tab cannot show pixel signups or cost per signup. Spend, clicks and impressions still show.
