Connect your Google Ads account to the Ads tool to see your Google campaigns, keywords, search terms and results in your WEMASY project. You log in with Google once and pick the account this project uses. Connecting only gives WEMASY read access to your data. Nothing is changed in your Google Ads account.
Before you begin
- Use a Google login that has access to the Google Ads account you want to connect.
- Allow popups for the WEMASY dashboard. The Google login opens in a popup window.
- Each project syncs from one Google Ads account. If you run ads for several businesses, connect each account in its own project.
Connect your account
- Open Ads from the product switcher.
- Click the Google tab.
- Click Connect with Google.
- Log in with your Google account in the popup.
- Allow WEMASY to access your Google Ads data.
- Wait until the popup closes and WEMASY shows the list of accounts.
- Click the account you want to use for this project.
- Click Use this account.
The Google tab now shows the Connection card with your Account, the Customer ID and the time your data is from. Manager accounts are marked with (manager) in the list.
After you connect
WEMASY fetches your campaign data from Google once a day, early in the morning in your project's time zone. Until the first sync has run, the Google tab shows No sync yet. To _blocked_ your data right away, open Full insights from the Google tab and click Sync now. See Sync and troubleshoot ad data.
When the data is in, the Google tab shows your key numbers and a Campaigns table with the type, status, budget per day, spend, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion of each campaign. Learn how to read them in Read your ad results.
Ads tool or Ad Protection
The Ads tool and the Ad Protection tool each have their own Google connection. The Ads tool shows your results. Ad Protection blocks fake clicks. If you use both, connect Google in each tool. See Connecting Google Ads in Ad Protection.
Frequently asked questions
The list says no Google Ads accounts were accessible. What now?
The Google login you used has no access to a Google Ads account. Click Try again and log in with the Google account that has access, or ask the account owner to add you as a user in Google Ads first.
I see a message that the popup was blocked.
Your browser stopped the Google login window. Allow popups for the WEMASY dashboard in your browser settings, then click Try again.
How do I switch to another Google Ads account or disconnect?
Open the Google tab and click Disconnect on the connection card. Your stored results stay in WEMASY, and the daily sync stops. To use another account, click Connect Google Ads again and sign in with the login of that account.
