Schedule recurring SEO audits

Learn how to schedule daily, weekly or monthly SEO audits in WEMASY so your site is checked automatically and you can follow your score.

Scheduled audits run an SEO scan of your website automatically, every day, week or month. You do not have to remember to check your site. Each run is saved as a normal audit, so your score over time shows whether your site gets better and a new broken link shows up in the next report.

Add a schedule

  1. Open SEO from the product switcher.
  2. Find Scheduled audits in the Broken links card on the overview.
  3. Click Add schedule.
  4. Enter the full address to scan, for example https://yourbusiness.com.
  5. Select the scan type: Full site, 404 checker or HTML check.
  6. Select the frequency: Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
  7. Click Save.

The schedule appears in the list with its frequency and the date of the Next run.

Plan a weekly check during the guided setup

The guided setup can plan a weekly check for you. Leave Check my site again every week and keep the history on before you click Start the check. The weekly check then appears under Scheduled audits. See Getting started with SEO Tool.

How many pages a scheduled audit scans

A scheduled 404 checker or HTML check scans as many pages as your plan allows on the day it runs. A scheduled Full site audit scans up to 25 pages, or fewer if your plan allows fewer. If you move to a paid plan, the next run uses the higher limits by itself. See SEO tool limits and Pro.

Change or remove a schedule

Each address has one schedule. To change the scan type or frequency, add a schedule for the same address again with the new settings. It replaces the old one.

To stop a schedule:

  1. Find the schedule under Scheduled audits.
  2. Click Delete.

Audits that already ran stay in Audits.

Follow your progress

The chart Score over time on the overview shows your score after every audit. To see exactly which checks changed between two runs, use Compare audits. See Read your SEO audit report.

Tip: a weekly 404 checker is a simple way to catch links that break when you rename or remove a page.
