The free SEO check lets anyone test a website without a WEMASY account. It runs the 404 checker or the HTML check on a small part of the site and explains how to fix each problem. Use it to try the SEO tool before you sign up, or to send a quick check of a website to someone else.
Run a free check
- Open the Free SEO check page. The free check form on the WEMASY website takes you there.
- Enter the address under Your website, for example
yourbusiness.com. - Under What do you want to check?, select 404 checker or HTML check.
- Enter your email address under Your email.
- Click Start the free check.
The report page opens and shows the progress until the check is done. WEMASY also sends the report to the email address you entered. The email address is not added to a newsletter without your consent.
What the free check covers
- 404 checker: broken links, redirects and heavy images on up to 25 pages, with up to 500 links checked.
- HTML check: titles, descriptions, headings and what search engines and AI assistants see, on one page.
The report link works for 30 days. You can open it again from the email.
Limits of the free check
To keep the free check available for everyone, the number of checks is limited per hour and per email address. When you reach the limit, the page shows that you have used the free checks for now. Try again later, or create a free account.

Why does the free check say it cannot find my website?
The address is not valid or the site is not a public website. Check the spelling of the address and that the site is online, then try again.
Which pages does the free check read?
Only public pages. The scanner follows robots.txt and identifies itself as WEMASYBot.
