Modules in project settings

Learn how to switch website modules such as online booking, class cards, or a QR menu on or off in your WEMASY project settings.

The Modules tab lists the extras your website uses, such as online booking, a waitlist, class cards, a menu, or a QR menu. WEMASY suggests modules for your type of business during onboarding. On this tab you switch them on or off later.

Open Modules

  1. Click the gear icon next to the project switcher.
  2. Click Modules in the menu on the left.

The modules you see depend on your industry and niche, so a restaurant sees other modules than a yoga studio.

Switch modules on or off

  1. Switch on the modules you want to use.
  2. Switch off the modules you do not need.
  3. Click Save modules.

Some modules depend on another module, so you may need to switch that one on first. Only the owner and collaborators with full rights can change modules.

What happens when you switch on a module

  • Online booking: WEMASY makes your first bookable service. Change its name, price, and times in Reservations & Bookings.
  • Visitor accounts: your visitors can log in at /account on your website to see their bookings and class card.
  • Paid modules: a module that is not included in the plan of this project starts a free trial the first time you switch it on. A trial runs only once per module.

Print QR codes for your tables

When the QR menu module is on, you can print a code for each table. A guest scans it, your menu opens, and you see the table number.

  1. Enter the Number of tables.
  2. Enter the Menu page, for example /menu.
  3. Click Show QR codes.
  4. Click Print.

Tip: Switch on only what you use, so your website stays simple for visitors. For bookings, continue with Getting started with Reservations & Bookings. For plans, see the plan overview.
