The Collaborators page shows everyone who works on your project and what each person may use. From here you change permissions, remove people, and follow up on invitations that are not accepted yet.
Open the collaborators list
- Open the project in the project switcher.
- Click your avatar or initials in the top right corner.
- Select Collaborators.
The first table lists active collaborators with their Email, Permissions, and Actions. The second table, Pending invitations, lists people who have not accepted yet.
Change what a collaborator may use
- Find the person in the collaborators table.
- Click Update Permissions in the Actions column.
- Tick or untick the rights in Permissions.
- Click Update Permissions to save.
The change applies the next time the person opens a page. A collaborator who loses a product right no longer sees that product in the product menu.
Remove a collaborator
- Find the person in the collaborators table.
- Click Delete in the Actions column.
- Confirm.
The person loses access to this project at once. Their WEMASY account and their other projects stay as they are. You cannot remove the owner of the project, and you cannot remove yourself.
Who can manage collaborators
- The owner and collaborators with full rights can change everyone's permissions and remove anyone except the owner.
- Collaborators with team management can invite and remove people, but cannot change or remove someone with full rights or team management.
- You can only give rights that you have yourself.
Collaborators from before rights per product
People who joined before permissions per product existed, and whose rights were never edited since, still have access to every product. To limit such a collaborator, open Update Permissions and choose the products they need.
Read Inviting collaborators to add people, and Transferring project ownership to hand the project over.
Frequently asked questions
How do I leave a project someone else owns?
There is no leave button for collaborators. Ask the owner, or a collaborator with full rights, to remove you from the Collaborators page.
A collaborator says a product is missing. Why?
They do not have the right for that product. Open Update Permissions for that person and tick the product.
