What is a Reciprocal Link?

A reciprocal link is when two websites agree to link to each other. For example, Website A links to Website B, and in return, Website B links back to Website A. This is done with the intention of boosting the SEO by increasing the backlinks. This improves the website authority and the search engine ranking of both websites.

The reciprocal links need to be done naturally. If there is overlinking that happens, the search engines regard it as malpractice and devalue both of the websites. The backlinks need to be relevant and effective.
