What is this onboarding page?

This onboarding page is your first editable canvas.

It is also a normal page of your website.

Any changes you make here will be visible on your live site later.

This allows you to learn by doing.

You can adjust content, design, and structure from one place.

Types of onboarding paths

There are two ways to start:

Start from scratch

You edit this page and add sections yourself.

Start from a theme

You install a theme and use pre-built pages and sections.

Both options work.

You can switch themes later.

Why is it important?

Faster first results

You can change text and sections right away.

Less confusion

You always know where to click to edit and preview.

Better design control

You can set global styling once and apply it everywhere.

Simple publishing

You can publish when you are ready, without extra steps.

How to use the Website Builder onboarding

Step 1: Turn Edit Mode on

Go to the top right of the screen.

Enable Edit mode to start editing.

Disable it when you want to click like a normal visitor.

This helps you avoid editing by accident.

Step 2: Make your first change on this page

Click on a text block.

Type your own text.

Your changes are saved automatically.

This allows you to see progress instantly.

Step 3: Customize your design

Open Customization in the left sidebar.

You can change the global styling of your website.

You can adjust:

• Site Identity (logo and basic settings)

• Colors

• Fonts

• Font size

• Heading size

• Buttons

• Accordion

• Integrations

• Custom CSS

This helps you set one style that stays consistent across all pages.

Step 4: Manage your pages

Open Pages in the top left area.

You can switch between pages.

You can add a new page when needed.

This allows you to build a complete website structure.

Step 5: Use the Tools menu

Next to your pages, you will see a three dots menu.

This menu contains tools that help you build faster.

You may see:

• Menus

• Forms

• Structures

• Importer

This helps you create navigation, forms, and structured content.

Menus

What is a menu?

A menu is your website navigation.

It contains links to pages and sections.

How to create or edit a menu

1. Open Menus from the three dots menu.

2. In the left sidebar, select an existing menu, or create a new one.

3. Add items using the red plus icon.

4. Reorder items by dragging them.

This allows you to build your navigation in minutes.

Forms

What is a form?

A form collects information from visitors.

Examples are contact forms and quote requests.

How to create a form

1. Open Forms from the three dots menu.

2. Click Create form.

3. Fill in:

   • Form title

   • Submit button text

   • Notify owner (optional)

   • Notify user (optional)

4. Save the form.

After saving, you will go to the form builder.

How to build the form fields

1. Drag fields from the left sidebar into the form.

2. Click a field to edit its settings.

3. Ensure each field has a clear field key (example: name, email).

4. Changes are saved automatically.

This helps you keep form data clean and usable.

How to place a form on a page

1. Go back to the website builder:

   • Click the WEMASY logo, or

   • Open Website Builder from the left side

2. On your page, hover where you want the form.

3. Click the small plus icon and select your form, or

4. Drag the form element from Elements into the page.

This allows you to publish forms without code.

Preview your website

What is “View website”?

View website shows your site as a visitor will see it.

Go to the top right and click View website.

This helps you check your design and content quickly.

Publish your website

What is publishing?

Publishing makes your website available online.

Go to the top right and click Publish.

You may see these options:

Export

You download a ZIP file with your website files.

This ZIP contains the HTML and all required resources.

WEMASY subdomain

You publish your site on a WEMASY.app subdomain.

You can choose your own slug, like yourname.wemasy.app.

Custom domain

You publish your site on your own domain.

You will be guided through DNS setup.

You can register a domain with WEMASY, or use another provider.

In some cases, you may need to verify your email to unlock publishing options.

This helps protect your project and keeps deployments reliable.

Tips / Best practices

• Start by changing this page first. This gives you quick results.

• Set your global styling in Customization before you design many pages.

• Use clear names for pages and menus. This helps visitors navigate.

• For forms, always use a clear field key (example: email).

• Use View website often to confirm your changes.

• Publish only when you are happy with the preview.
